The Iowa caucus is the first real indicator to see how well a presidential candidate will perform with voters and the first vote in which candidates can win delegates. We were proud to be a part of the “First in the Nation: Shaping Presidential Politics Since 1972” exhibit for the Iowa State Historical Museum in Des Moines, Iowa. Historical footage and photos of the candidates on the campaign trail were used to produce two videos that explores Iowa’s first-in-the-nation status. A traveling display made stops at several locations across the state and included historical caucus artifacts, images and film clips. One of the stops included St. Ambrose University Library, right in our own back yard!
