What is a creative media company?

As a creative media company, we produce creative content and can act as the creative production arm of your business. Maybe you already have a marketing team, but you need assistance with a production project. Silver Oaks can help! Or maybe you don’t have a marketing team and you want to utilize Silver Oaks on a project-by-project basis. A creative media company can be used for that purpose too.

 

What services do you offer?

Silver Oaks offers videography, photography, graphic design, audio engineering, project management, image retouching, and interactive media development.

 

What types of clients do you work with?

We work with two main types of clients – museum and corporate. Our museum clients are located across the United States. We serve corporate clients from the international manufacturing and agriculture industries to Fortune 500 companies, hospitals, financial institutions, and start-ups.

 

What are the most popular types of projects your clients are requesting?

Our corporate clients request video projects the most. We create TV commercials, training videos, promotional videos, product videos, strategy videos, and internal communications. Our second most popular request is design work. We produce brochures, banners, logos, print and digital ads and content for websites. When it comes to museum clients, we produce interactive media including touchscreen games and kiosks the most.

 

Can you provide references?

Yes, references can be provided at any point in our process.

Why should I choose to use a production team instead of individuals who specialize in one service only?

Silver Oaks has experience, expertise, and talent all under one roof. We are easily able to collaborate and work through issues quickly. This allows us to provide quality products to you on time and within your budget. We have been in business for 35 years and have experience managing a wide variety of creative projects.

 

How do you determine cost for each project?

We strive from the very beginning of our partnership to communicate clearly and transparently. Your Silver Oaks project manager will work with the creative team to develop a comprehensive estimate for your review. Each individual involved in your project will provide an estimated amount of time for their services. We take into consideration planning, editing, reviews, production, and packaging final files. All of these steps will be considered in the most efficient way possible to make this cost effective for your needs.

 

Do we have to sign a long term contract to use your services?

No. We do not have our clients sign long term contracts. We charge and sign contracts on a project-by-project basis. We are a time and materials based company. We believe our quality of work and customer service will build the relationship, not a contract.

 

Who will I work with throughout this process?

You will work directly with the account manager throughout your entire process, from project kick-off through completion. Our account managers are assisted by project managers who help oversee the details of the project including progress updates, timelines and budget management.

 

How do I initiate a project with Silver Oaks?

If you have a project request, reach out to one of our account managers, complete the form to “contact us” on our website, or send us a message on Facebook. Someone from our team will contact you, and we will start the process of getting to know you and understanding your needs.

 

What tips do you have for a great project experience?

In order to make the process go as smoothly as possible, it’s helpful to have a project scope in mind when you begin a project with us. Communicate your expectations, and provide us with the content, ideas, and detailed information needed. Once the right assets are in place, we can begin work, establish a timeline, and have your project completed in a timely fashion. We also appreciate flexibility and openness, especially when doing something really creative. We have an awesome team and creativity is sparked in the most random times.

 

What does the final review process look like?

The project manager or account manager will send over final files, and you are able to review and share with everyone on your team. Once you provide us with feedback, we will make any changes necessary. This process will happen on average 2-3 times before a final version is decided upon. After you have given your stamp of approval, we will provide the final document in the appropriate format. Per your request, we will release all working documents to you and your business so YOU own them.
