Touch Interactive Frame and Transparent Display Glass

This concept uses painted overlays and animated masks to make a seamless media gallery within the frame, keeping it consistent with the integrity of the room design, allowing it to sit elegantly on the brick wall as a piece of art with the content coming to life via animated technology. Users will be able to cycle through media on the screen through touch. The interactive itself will become a living painting when users have yet to interact with it and will use subtle animated movement through its attract loop. When a user comes physically engages with the interactive it will activate the video and media content available. Users can then directly cycle through the content by touching the interface.

For the jacket display case, a transparent video screen will be used to show video and animations of the jacket as it overlays concepts with the physical jacket. A hand-drawn approach will be featured highlighting original design ideas and history of the jacket with a more personal touch. The overlaying video will be done so the user will be able to see the physical jacket through the video, adding a new layer to the experience. The video will then be turned off when the interactive is not in use, leaving the jacket to shine within as it would with a more traditional display case.

Motion-Controlled Interactive Frame and Transparent Display Glass

This concept additionally uses gestural, motion-controlled technology, in place of traditional touch screen technology in order to control and navigate through the interactive content.

The framed interactive will react similarly as with touch technology, but will have the added motion effects to fluidly add painterly, brush strokes that will animate along with the users motions to go along with the painted look of the interface.

The addition of motion control to the interactive will bring a few advantages to the experience. It will engage the user in a new, possibly unexpected way creating for an even more unique experience, and it will also provide a level of future-proofing the interactive as more experiences are moving towards being touchless.

Motion-Controlled Interactive Frame, Projected Animation and Transparent Display Glass

This concept will operate very similarly to the previous concepts, but will have additional animation and capabilities with projections extending into the brick wall from the frame. This will allow for an entirely new realm of additional animations and interactions, as what the user does with the interactive will have effects on the wall surrounding them. Painted, brush strokes will flow along the wall, showing related videos and media that will appear to be painted along the wall. This concept will also use motion controls that can also be extended into the projected animations.

Framed interactive with motion controls

Naturally mapped to a user's intuitive movements, motion-controls allow for an experience to be uninterrupted by traditional, distracting buttons and overlays.

This concept can be used with either touch or motion controls, but by adding gestural input-mapping to the controls of the interface, we allow for more painterly effects to be blended along with the motions and inputs of the user.

Using these effects, we will work to naturally integrate these concepts into audio/video clips into a free-flowing and seamless menu adaptation.
