“Family Style Dining” Video
A training video on “Family Style Dining,” that instructs caregivers on how to provide meals to residents in need of differing diets – from soft to liquid – as well as tips on how to create a family style atmosphere for the residents during this important social time. Silver Oaks worked closely with DD Homes to provide detailed script writing and video footage. The end product was a training video explaining step-by-step instructions on food preparation, special diets and adaptive equipment.
Bed Mobility Training Video
A training video on “Bed Mobility” that instructs caregivers on proper lifting techniques for moving residents in and out of beds safely. Silver Oaks worked closely with DD Homes to provide an in-depth script highlighting safe lifting techniques for residents with differing levels of care. Instructional video footage followed, showing caregivers correctly lifting residents without injury to themselves or the people in their care.
Virtual Tour
A virtual tour of a DD Homes residence, showing video footage of living spaces, kitchen and dining facilities, bedrooms, bathrooms and spacious hallways to accommodate wheelchairs and other equipment. Silver Oaks also produced 360 spherical panoramic photography of living spaces, as well as high-resolution drone footage from above several homes to show yards and patios.
DD Homes 360° Virtual Tour
DD Homes provides exceptional residential services to adults with developmental disabilities. In an effort to better market themselves to potential residents and their families, DD Homes asked Silver Oaks to create 360 spherical panoramic photography of one of their homes to be used on their website.
The spherical panorama created for DD Homes includes images of the kitchen, living room, dining room, bathrooms, bedrooms and hallways, and provides the viewer with both 360-degree horizontal coverage, and full 180-degree vertical coverage from ceiling to floor.
A virtual tour of the images was programmed together to create an interactive way for users to engage with the panorama by moving from room to room, zooming into an image or reading more information. Now potential residents and their families can “virtually” visit a facility to better understand its dynamic, and home-away-from home feel.
