Exhibit Enhancements

When the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library & Museum showcased C-SPAN’s “American Presidents: Life Portraits” traveling exhibit, they brought Silver Oaks on board to assist with exhibit enhancements. Featuring all 44 presidents and first lad ies, the traveling exhibit included presidential oil portraits, photographs and personal items acquired by the museum’s curatorial staff.

Recognizing the need to set the stage and draw visitors into th e temporary exhibit hall, the museum put Silver Oaks’ creative expertise to work. Using in-depth research and great attention to detail, Silver Oaks recreated the North Portico of the White House. When entering the gallery, visitors have the prestigious “red-carpet ” experience of passing through the front doors of the White House as though they are dignitaries being welcomed into the elegant Entrance Hall. The exhibit is further enhanced with photo op experiences, where visitors can take “selfies” with life-size cutouts of presidents Washington, Lincoln,Hoover and Trump.
