Partnering with exhibit design company Armadillo Arts, Silver Oaks developed three multimedia experiences for the Vietnam War exhibit at the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum at Camp Dodge, Iowa. A touchscreen interactive honors the 900 Iowans killed in the conflict, and features several videos of Vietnam vets recalling their stories. Another interactive gives a brief overview of the war – beginnings, escalation and withdrawal. Through video projection, a modified UH-1H “Huey” helicopter gives visitors a glimpse of how it looked from the inside when flying in the helicopter with the doors open.
