Lamar Hunt Super Bowl Gallery
Silver Oaks Communications was pleased to have the opportunity to design and develop seven computer-based touchscreen interactives for the Lamar Hunt Super Bowl Gallery at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The Gallery offers a decade-by-decade look at each Super Bowl – the teams, winning coaches and MVPs. At each of the four “Decades” kiosk stations, a user-friendly interface allows visitors to search each Super Bowl by number, season or team. Menu choices include Game Overview, Video Highlights, Game Photos, Starting Lineup, Game Stats and In Their Own Words, where visitors can watch up-close and personal video of players like Peyton Manning sharing what their Super Bowl experience meant to them.
In the Celebration of Victory area, the “Coaches” and “MVPs” kiosk stations highlight winning achievements through game summaries, videos and photos. Coaches and MVPs can be searched by name, season, team or Super Bowl.
“Design Your Own Ring” Interactive
The Gallery of Super Bowl Rings provides visitors with the unique opportunity to see 47 Championship rings, and try their hand at designing one. The “Design Your Own Ring” touchscreen interface invites visitors to custom set their very own virtual Super Bowl ring, with choices for precious metals, ring shapes, background color, team logo, year and sparkling diamonds. Each visitor’s ring design is then displayed in the ring gallery.

Gridiron Glory – Rotunda Gallery
Silver Oaks partnered with the Pro Football Hall of Fame team for the Hall of Fame’s “The Future 50” Expansion and Renovation Project, the largest in its history. In honor of its 50th Anniversary in 2013, the Hall of Fame’s original iconic two-story rotunda, constructed in 1963, was completely renovated with new displays, including 13 multimedia components produced by Silver Oaks. Teaming up with exhibit designer Gallagher & Associates and exhibit fabricator 1220 Exhibits, Silver Oaks worked with NFL Films to provide a wide variety of memorable A/V visitor experiences that touch upon all aspects of the sport – historical, science, modern day, cultural and more.
Gridiron Glory – Traveling Exhibit
Silver Oaks partnered with the Pro Football Hall of Fame to put together a multi-year traveling exhibit, “Gridiron Glory: The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame,” showcasing artifacts and memorabilia from its hallowed ground in Canton, O hio. Teaming up with exhibit designer Gallagher & Associates and exhibit fabricator GALLO, Silver Oaks worked with NFL Films to handle the multimedia components, including the specification of equipment.
The centerpiece of the exhibit, “Champions Theater,” is an immersive audiovisual experience that surrounds the visitor with ten monitors wrapping around in a 270-degree arc. From the center, visitors watch an inspiring 7-minute video that defines what makes a Super Bowl Champion, and ends with the focus on the Lombardi trophy on display in the center of the gallery.
The four corners of the traveling exhibit are flanked with mini theaters that feature videos entitled “Pro Football’s Pioneers” and “Road to Equality,” along with videos at two touchscreen stations entitled “Science of the Game” and “Records are Made to be Broken.” Interspersed throughout the exhibit are videos focusing on “How Players Suit Up” and “Football as a Way of Life,” as well as touchscreen video stations highlighting “Dynasties” and “Fantastic Finishes.”
