Silver Oaks had the opportunity to contribute to the finishing touches of the University of Minnesota’s TCF Bank Stadium. Partnering with an exhibit design firm, Silver Oaks produced a computer-based touchscreen interactive that showcases the Gophers’ great moments. Appropriately titled “Gopher Glory,” the interactive features the “M” Club Hall of Fame honorees and winning championship teams, as well as honors and awards recipients and celebrated coaches. Visitors are able to seek out bios and photos of their favorite “M” Club members, as well as team photos for National, Conference and Tournament Championship teams. The Honors and Awards section allows visitors to search by award or by sport to see details about the winning athletes and coaches.
Taking great care to incorporate graphic and architectural elements of the stadium, Silver Oaks created a program that truly encompasses Gopher pride, including University of Minnesota’s fight songs and cheers. The touchscreen program has two stations, each with a 32" slave monitor.
In addition to producing the Hall of Fame’s cornerstone multimedia exhibit, Silver Oaks also produced a looping soundscape program that plays throughout the exhibit space – featuring key calls and cheers from Gopher glory moments.
