Established because of its rich archaeological resources, Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum, located in St. Leonard, Maryland, is home to a variety of excavation sites – including a prehistoric Native American village,
a colonial plantation, a Civil War hospital and a 19th century African American cabin.
To provide visitors with a clear overview of options when visiting this 560-acre park, Silver Oaks created a touchscreen interactive titled “Plan Your Visit.” Visitors can then see what tourist and educational opportunities are available in archaeology, environment, events, exhibits, rental facilities, history, programs and trails. The interactive program was designed to allow the museum the necessary flexibility to update images and text as needed.
