Silver Oaks was asked to create an exhibit that showcases Deere & Company’s Tango E5 autonomous mower – playing off the messaging “The weekend is yours again.”
From concept through installation, Silver Oaks designed a 300-square-foot exhibit that transports visitors into a backyard setting where the actual hands-free Tango unit is mowing. Adding to the realism, the exhibit uses an innovative video application featuring a family as they go about their weekend routine. Custom video was shot and edited so that the visitors can see glimpses of life “going on” in the house through windows and door, all while Tango is handling the lawn care.
The exhibit experience is more of a performance rather than a typical product demonstration. The presentation is organized into segments – starting with a 1-minute “teaser” of Tango’s capabilities, followed by a 9-minute random mowing session and finishing with a 5-minute charging session.
We also produced a time-lapse video showing the complete installation, concluding with the opening event.
